We get a lot of questions about hair restoration in our office and wanted to share some of the most common with you, along with their answers.
If you have any questions not covered here or in one of our other articles, feel free to give us a call. If we can’t answer your question over the phone, we will be happy to schedule a free consultation for you to meet with Dr. Danyo.
Let’s get started…
Does it hurt?
We hear this question a lot.
With the use of anesthetic, you should experience very minimal discomfort during your procedure. In fact, you may find that your bottom hurts more than your head after sitting in the chair for a long period of time. We’ll make you as comfortable as possible while you’re with us and even after your procedure.
How long before I see hair growth?
You’ve probably heard the term “it’s like watching grass grow.” Well, this is pretty much the same thing.
Some people may see noticeable growth after a few months, but typically you’ll notice a difference around 10-12 months post procedure. The best thing you can do is take a photo before your procedure and then compare after 3 months, 6 months, etc.
Standing in front of the mirror everyday looking for new hair growth will just make you more impatient.
Will the scars be noticeable?
When your Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is done by a talented professional like Daniel Danyo M.D., it’s going to be hard for anyone to know you’ve had work done. That’s because he uses cutting edge techniques like Shaveless FUE that don’t require you to shave any part of your head.
Dr. Danyo also uses Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments that don’t require any time off, leave no scars, and can be done in just one afternoon.
We know you probably have more questions, so now is the time to schedule your free consultation. You’ll meet with Dr. Danyo and learn everything you need to know about the best procedure for you. We want you to be educated about your procedure from start to finish.
