SMP and PRP for Hair Loss

Is your hair thinning out in certain areas? Has your hairline begun to recede from where it once was? Is there too much scalp showing through your part? There are a number of hair-loss products, services and procedures available, but all aren’t created equal. We offer two non-surgical options you may want to consider.

Platelet-Rich Plasma – PRP

PRP initially came to the public’s attention as a treatment for persistent tennis elbow. In fact, it has many applications. The way we use PRP injections is to help support hair health and increase volume. We use your body’s own cells to promote healing. We’ve seen particularly good results for women. Women aren’t as likely as men to get surgery, because the majority don’t suffer from loss, instead their biggest issue is miniaturization. PRP can be a great choice because there are virtually no side effects. We are using your own cells.

Scalp Micropigmentation – SMP

The illusion of hair is almost as good as the real thing. Scalp Micropigmentation is an illusion of hair that comes from many, many pigment dots via shallow injection. The depth of the pigment dots is generally around 2 millimeters. This form of scalp-tattoo can be temporary or semi-permanent.  Men can create an illusion of a full, shaved head of hair. Women can fill in a sparse part.

You may be asking yourself, is this particular treatment right for me? The best way to know what treatment is right for you is to have an evaluation from a medical professional dedicated to serving men and women with hair loss. We’d love to show you what we can do for you. Give us a call or book 24/7 using our booking app. We’re excited to meet you.
